Our Story

The Fall of 2006 was a defining moment in HMCC history as we planted a church site in Evanston, IL, on the campus of Northwestern university. God has been moving powerfully, bringing college and graduated students, as well as working professionals and married couples.

The Fall of 2008 marked another milestone for us as we extended our ministry to the downtown area of Chicago by planting a church site at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). UIC has been on our heart since we started in 2006, and we are now able to meet the needs of many students and working professionals who long to experience transformation in their lives, in their campus and in our city.

HMCC of Chicago is a non-denominational, multi-ethnic, multi-site church with a vision to transform lives and transform the world through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We have two sites: Evanston (by Northwestern University) and Downtown (by UIC).
