According to the Gospel accounts of Jesus’ ministries, Jesus Christ did not come to be served but to serve. And in the same way, the members of HMCC are expected to live out this principle of service to the edification of the church and to serve those outside of the family of God. With three ministry teams, there are plenty of ways to exercise the gifts and talents God has given to us by His grace in order to serve those around us.

Helps Team
Our team exists to be ministers of the Gospel through service and servant attitudes. Whether we prepare rooms for worship or set up equipment for meetings, we strive to serve with excellence and invisibility. By serving in this way, we hope that others will be able to powerfully experience, without hindrances, what God is doing in our community.

Hospitality Team
We desire to help facilitate an inviting, warm and friendly atmosphere. We seek to provide an environment that is conducive for members and newcomers to feel welcomed and build relationships with one another but ultimately, to seek the presence of God. We are also here to answer any questions you may have about our church! So if you are in need of assistance or just want to see our token smiles, we are here to serve!

Multimedia Team
The Multimedia Team combines the talented gifts of those who long to communicate creatively through graphic design, photography, web design and video editing. Using these varied mediums, the team focuses on conveying important information about HMCC of Chicago, whether it be announcements, sermon graphics or past events. A further function of the team, is to act as a doorway into our church community by keeping the website fresh and updated and to give the world a literal picture into the life of HMCC of Chicago through photography and other visual media. The ultimate mission of the multimedia team is to utilize varied visual media to represent the heart of the church.
